Based on experience, I called upon Forge Precision to manufacture the forming die tooling necessary to produce these parts. Once again, you and your personnel were able to deliver on a promise. I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone at Forge Precision who helped accomplish this task. Due to your rapid response, we were able to produce the formed housing halves on time (in fact, one day ahead of schedule). I look forward to continuing this relationship in the future. Recently, on the TRW Front Upper Control Arm program, Kaiser Aluminum was asked to develop forge and trim tools for a program that required parts in less than 7 weeks. The main requirement to stay on time for the program was to receive the forging tools on time and to print. After working with Kaiser on his forge tool design, Forge Tool and Die were able to program and sink the tools in less than 2 weeks. This was only possible because of the excellent working relationship that Fon, Tool MD Die has with Kaiser Aluminum. Ass a result of the quick turnaround of the tooling, we at Kaiser will be able to supply our customer, TRW, with parts over one week ahead of their schedule. Thus, allowing them much nettled additional time to complete their machining, assembly, and testing. This part was the first aluminum forging that TRW has dealt with from Kaiser Aluminum, and with your help, we have made m excellent first impression by exceeding their expectations.
We at Kaiser have always considered Forge Tool and Die a critical vendor for tooling and want to thank you for the role that your company has played in making the start-up of this program a success.
